I’m in my hotel room getting ready for dinner in California. It’s almost 6 here–almost 9 at home. I don’t know how I’m going to stay awake through salad.

The next Trading Spaces they’re promoting: What happens when exes redo each other’s bedrooms!
WTF…so you’re divorced, but you are all right with not only being on a TV show with your ex, but have them redecorate your bedroom (and is their new spouse helping with this task)?
There’s so much wrong with that on so many levels. To start, the whole idea of house renovations mixed with bedroom relations covers the gamit for whatever reason there was a divorce in the first place. The only thing they need to add is a quick bit where they balance each other’s checkbooks.

::::sigh … Trading Spaces may be my least favorite television show of all time. I mean, if I had an ex I’d be fine with her coming over and redoing our spare bedroom. Or if Jo had an ex, I’d be fine with him coming over and redoing our … laundry room. Aside from that, I like my house and I hate “redoing” any room. So why in the world would I EVER want to go redo someone else’s house? Are you kidding me?
